Northeastern’s innovative programs encompass over 175+ majors, 120 combined majors, along with a variety of concentrations, honors, pre-professional, and study-abroad programs.
Student Life
Northeastern is a diverse and inclusive community of motivated students from 122 countries around the world, with 80 countries represented in the Fall 2018 freshman class. Our students are often described as curious self-starters who are ready to explore the world. Students have access to over 400 clubs and organizations and an extensive network of advisement and counseling services. Programs and services sponsored by the African American Institute, the Latinx Student Cultural Center, the Asian American Center, Hillel, the LGBTQA Center, the Center for Intercultural Engagement, the International Student & Scholar Institute, and many other organizations enrich Northeastern’s social life and cultural fabric. In athletics, Northeastern competes in NCAA Division I and maintains varsity teams in 8 men’s and 10 women’s sports.
From signature events such as Husky Hunt, a 24-hour scavenger hunt across the city, to traditions like the Beanpot Hockey Tournament, there are endless opportunities to explore our campus and immerse yourself in new ways.
